Bondel Studio lets you create an AI pet portrait preview from your photo and choose a version to order. Artist refinement is available when you submit an Artist Refinement Request with the original order. It is not automatically included in every Studio order.

That distinction also affects refunds: Studio orders without an original Artist Refinement Request are not eligible for a refund for dissatisfaction or a change of mind. With that request submitted at ordering, the refund guarantee applies until you approve the revised artwork. Damage and defect remedies are separate. 1. Create and inspect your preview

Start in Bondel Studio, upload your photo and choose an available style. The preview is AI-generated digital artwork. A canvas order is a print of the artwork, rather than an original painting applied directly to the canvas by hand.

Compare the preview with your reference. Check the eyes, muzzle, ears, fur markings and any visible paws or tail. If you added a name or dates, check them closely. A painted style can be attractive while still changing a detail you care about.

2. Choose the version as shown or request refinement

If you are happy with the selected version and order without an Artist Refinement Request, that version proceeds through the production workflow. Do not expect a separate artist revision and approval exchange automatically.

If you need changes, use the artist-refinement option and submit your instructions with the order. Check that the request is saved for the version you are ordering before completing checkout. Sending a new request only after placing an order without one does not create eligibility for the Studio refinement refund guarantee.

3. Write an actionable Artist Refinement Request

Describe what is wrong, where it appears and what should change. Keep separate changes on separate lines. For example:

• “Keep the pose and background. Make the white patch on the chest smaller to match the reference.”
• “The left ear should fold forward, rather than stand upright.”
• “Please keep the name fully inside the visible composition with space below it.”

These are examples of useful instructions, not examples of completed customer orders. If a feature is missing from your reference, do not assume it can be reconstructed accurately. Describe your concern and review the proposed revision before approving it.

4. Review the revised artwork before approval

For orders submitted with an Artist Refinement Request, review the revised artwork sent to you before approving it for production. Compare it with your instructions and check the selected canvas size and composition.

The refund guarantee for this route ends when you approve the revised artwork. If you want to use the guarantee, contact hello@bondel.co with your order number before approval.

How are refunds different from replacements?

A refund returns payment; a replacement supplies another canvas. The Studio refund conditions above are separate from the advertised 30-day canvas replacement guarantee. If a canvas arrives damaged or defective, contact us with your order number and photos so we can arrange a free replacement. See the returns policy for the separate satisfaction replacement promise.
